Product highlights
⚡ Power and performance
- Power-to-weight: Lots of power in a slim, light saw: more done with less strain.
- Smart drive control: Software-controlled drive for better starts and stops under load, with less weight and vibration than a mechanical clutch.
- ActiveCool: Active cooling keeps power steady and helps the battery last longer.
- Bar choice: Takes bars from 13 to 20 in. Full-chisel X-Cut C35 and C33 chains add speed for clearing and cutting wood.
- Pick your battery: The 40-B540X gives more power, longer run time and supports long bars; the 40-B330X keeps the saw light and nimble.
- X-Cut chain: Built and tested by Husqvarna next to its pro saws: efficient cutting, sharpness that lasts and less re-tensioning.
🌲 Control and comfort
- Battery through the body: The battery slides in sideways through the saw: better balance, less dirt and water in the battery bay, and room for different battery sizes.
- Trigger lock: Prevents the throttle from being pressed by accident.
- Easy to handle: Narrow body, high centre of gravity and flat underside.
- Slim design: Low, slender saw body that is easy to handle anywhere.
- Durable felling sight: Raised felling mark that stays clear for the life of the saw.
🔧 Easy to start and maintain
- Graphic display: Shows battery level, status and saw health, and controls savE mode.
- Flip-up tank cap: Easy to open.
- Remembers your settings: Keeps your last settings for quick restarts.
- Captive bar nuts: The bar nuts stay on the cover, so you can’t lose them.
- Easy cleaning: Removable filter keeps dirt out and opens up the motor area for cleaning.

- BLi-X battery system: From light batteries to high-capacity ones: quick to charge, quick to swap, and shared with other Husqvarna battery tools.
- Weatherproof (IPX4): Rated IPX4 for rain: use it all year round.
